PRAx Presents: 2027-28 Season Reveal, Featuring Artemis

The festivities begin at 6 p.m. and culminate in a concert by an all-star ensemble of musical virtuosos at 7:30 p.m. There’s a reason that the band Artemis — named for the Greek goddess of the hunt — has been named the Group of the Year in the DownBeat Readers Poll for four consecutive years. This is a pinnacle of contemporary jazz expression.
Each musician is a brilliant player and composer in her own right, with Renee Rosnes, the ensemble’s founder, on piano, Ingrid Jensen on trumpet, Nicole Glover on saxophone, Noriko Ueda on bass and Allison Miller on drums. Together, they perform with power, passion and high-wire intensity — a perfect match for the seasons we aim to curate at PRAx.
Available tickets will be released sequentially to Friends of PRAx, regular attendees at PRAx concerts and the general public.
