PRAx and the Corvallis Folklore Society Present: Breabach

“As polished as it was passionate, matching fiery intensity with exquisite finesse, this was a magnificent set.”  — The Scotsman

Securely ranked among Scotland’s most skilled and imaginative contemporary folk acts, Breabach unite deep roots in Highland and Island tradition with the innovative Scottish music scene.

To date, Breabach have released seven acclaimed albums. Their latest studio album “Fàs” coincided with their being awarded “Folk Band of the Year” at the BBC ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards. Breabach fuels their creative appetites through an astonishing array of collaborations with such other artists as BAFTA award-winning animator Cat Bruce (on the film Dùsgadh), Indigenous Australasian artists Moana & The Tribe, and video game composer Big Giant Circles.
