Spring Creek Project Presents: Earth Words: The Pacific Northwest’s Premier Environmental Writing Showcase

In these times of cultural upheaval when the natural world is facing unprecedented pressures and losses, we need joyful celebrations to nurture community, sustain activism and deepen our understanding of kinship and interconnectedness with all living beings.

Earth Words, an annual event in its third year, will feature celebrated writers sharing stories that help us imagine new futures, deepen our love for the world and resoundingly speak up for justice. Since its founding 24 years ago, the Spring Creek Project has held fast to the belief that how we write about this precious and imperiled world has the power to change it. Join us as we fill the concert hall with good words for this world.

Stay tuned for the 2027 lineup of readers, which will be announced in late winter.
