Frontwoman Insun Park leads a breathtaking show where serious rock and epic vocals meet the traditional Korean ancestral rhythms of Gangnyeong mask dance. Creative boundaries explode in this concert, part of a PRAx offering in which one evening is for the general public (special discount for OSU employees!) and the next is a free night just for students.
Renowned for her innovative spirit, Insun Park is backed by a band that includes traditional instruments like the taepyeongso alongside drums, guitar and bass — and a healthy dose of brassy, punk rock. As one of the few women masters of the Gangnyeong mask dance, a tradition historically dominated by men, Insun Park delivers an energetic, youthful fusion that feels fresh, bold and powerfully alive.
