Endowment & Major Gifts
Endowments. Scholarships. Creativity & Research.
Ticket sales and annual gifts are important sources of support for any arts center. But everything we do at the Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts depends on the generosity of the donors who share our vision.
Donor support, especially through endowments, provides permanent support and stability for PRAx. The generosity of donors enables us to bring internationally acclaimed artists to Corvallis, to activate world-changing research through artistic expression, and to create amazing opportunities for students.
At PRAx, art matters – to our students, to our audiences, and to the future of the world that the arts explore and engage.

Featured Donor
Terri Homer moved to Corvallis for the arts. A retired doctor and lifelong singer, she was drawn to our unique blend of community and university arts opportunities. Those opportunities inspired Terri to support the construction of PRAx, fund a music scholarship and create a lasting legacy in her estate plan.
"One of the most important reasons that I chose to live in Corvallis is because the arts truly matter here. I support PRAx because I believe it is important for OSU and the community to have a place to make and enjoy beautiful art together."
— Terri Homer
Impact of giving
OSU student musicians, artists, actors, directors, designers and creatives - in fields from art to engineering - represent some of the best emerging talent in the nation. Your gift enables us to underwrite low-cost student seats in our venues, to support student productions and to bring our students into contact with the world’s best artists. Student, campus and community engagement are attached to almost every artist visit to The Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts at Oregon State University. Masterclasses, classroom visits, dialogues and other events are often behind the scenes of a marquee performance - but they represent the essence of what we do.
Your gift supports programming, sustains our site and mission and helps us bring the world to Corvallis.
