PROFESSIONAL STAFF

PRAx Event Manager

The Event Manger works with rental clients and visiting artists/speakers, as well as across divisions of PRAx, on a wide range of events, from concept to execution. The person in this role will have exceptional organization and communication skills.

PRAx Event Coordinator (Project Coordinator 1)

The Event Coordinator supports the implementation of events across divisions of PRAx, from speaking engagements and workshops to receptions and VIP visits. The person in this role will move fluidly between logistics (e.g., event planning, booking catering, compiling itineraries) and event implementation (e.g., moving chairs and/or lecterns, arranging and placing décor, setting up tables and materials).

Stage Production Coordinator (Ensemble Coordinator)

The Ensemble Coordinator assists in the scheduling, logistics, and on-the-ground operations of performing arts ensembles in the School of Visual, Performing and Design Arts (SVPDA). In particular, the position facilitates the close collaboration between the School and the Patrica Valian Reser Center for Creative Arts (PRAx), the School’s performance home.

The Coordinator works closely with SVPDA faculty/staff and PRAx staff to plan and provide hands-on support for the Student Arts Season during each academic term. This work includes both advanced planning and time in rehearsal and performance settings. The position requires a high degree of organization and communication skills and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.

PRAx Event and Program Facilitator

The Event and Program Facilitator is a public-facing role that interacts with a range of clients and patrons including but not limited to visiting artists, VIPs, rental clients, concertgoers, university students and k-12 students.

The person in this role understands the importance of creating a welcoming environment and experience for all PRAx guests and collaborators.
