Looking for community in the process of writing and research? Finding a lull in energy with the onset of the rainy season? Join the Center for the Humanities Write on Site for Winter 2026!

Write on Site is available to all humanities faculty at OSU. We'll meet each Friday in winter term (except finals week) from 10 a.m. to noon in the PRAx Greenroom (PRAx 143). We'll begin with a quick around-the-room to share each person's goal for that session. Then, we'll work silently for the majority of the time, pausing at the end to check in. Center for the Humanities will provide coffee and snacks, and we'll all bring the camaraderie.

Because we want this to be a regular group meeting, we're asking each member to commit to showing up every Friday (understanding that there may be the rare conflict). Here's the full list of winter meeting dates:
