Join us for a conversation with three distinguished experts in history, ethnomusicology, and anthropology, who will contextualize the music of Las Cafeteras within the long history of Mexican resistance as well as music’s potential to shape Latinx futures in the United States. The conversation will be facilitated by Nicole von Germeten, Professor of Latin American History and Associate Dean in the College of Liberal Arts at Oregon State University.
