Lightbox Happy Hour
Lightbox, n. 1. A translucent box with an internal light source, used for examining photographs, tracing designs or installing integrated artworks. 2. A device used to treat sadness caused by low levels of light. 3. Small servings of refined appetizers and snacks, beautifully presented in a convivial atmosphere.
Join us for the Lightbox Happy Hour, a casual, pre-show opportunity to purchase food, wine and other beverages and to socialize with fellow concertgoers.
Inspired by the seven large lightboxes in the north lobby of PRAx, the Lightbox Happy Hour begins an hour before select performances and often occurs in conjunction with our PRAxPRELUDES – small morsels of content related to the event, ranging from a meet-and-greet with an artist to a flash talk on a related topic or music by our student ensembles.
For the fastest on-site service and to guarantee availability, pre-order your gourmet charcuterie lightbox (including vegan and vegetarian options) alongside your ticket purchase.
Congratulations to our partner Grazing Oregon Charcuteries, winner of a silver medal for new restaurants in the “Best of the Willamette Valley” awards.
