PRAx Presents: Bridgman | Packer Dance: Ghost Factory
Ghost Factory is the latest in the acclaimed body of work by Bridgman|Packer Dance that features their “video partnering” — the integration of live performance and video technology. Inspired by the residents and vast deserted factories of Johnson City in upstate New York, Ghost Factory lives at the margins of boundary-breaking modern dance, history and technology to evoke the humanity these industrial spaces once held.
At PRAx, where Bridgman|Packer founders Art Bridgman and Myrna Packer will serve as the 2026-27 Tom Walmsley Artists-in-Residence, Ghost Factory will be accompanied by an installation of Places with Hidden Stories — a project designed to unearth the past that will be co-created by the company and OSU students in Assistant Professor Kelly Bosworth’s public history curriculum.
