PRAx Presents: A Film Screening of Pixar's Brave

Friends, families, and film lovers are welcome to join us for an afternoon screening of Pixar’s Brave on February 8! The Academy Award-winning film follows Merida, an impulsive young lady and daughter to King Fergus and Queen Elinor, who is determined to carve her own path in life. This showing is in anticipation of Julie Fowlis's performance later in the week at PRAx, where she sang two of the original songs in the film.

And as a special opportunity, families who reserve tickets to our Brave screening can RSVP for a Q&A with Julie Fowlis herself! Before her concert on February 12, families will have the opportunity to have a limited-space Q&A and sound check at 5 p.m.

This will be a sneak peek into the preparation for a performance and an exciting opportunity for kids to ask questions about making music, a singer’s experience with filmmaking and Scottish folk music!

To RSVP for the Q&A prior to Fowlis’ performance, simply follow the directions in the confirmation email for your screening tickets. Space is limited and will be first-come, first-served.

Lightbox Happy Hour: Begins at 2 p.m.

Get warmed up for the screening at our special Lightbox Happy Hour! Enjoy snacks and activities for the whole family alongside local quartet Loose Flagstone, will perform a set of lively Celtic music in the Toomey Lobby.
