PRAx Presents: Marc Cary and Indigenous Peoples

Pianist, keyboardist, composer and producer Marc Cary (Mashpee Wampanoag) brings his pan-ethnic collective Indigenous Peoples to PRAx, merging poetic rhyme flow, soulful chanting, go-go rhythms and a funky groove. During his 30-plus-year musical career, Cary “has had an uncanny knack for sounding like the future” (Jazz Times).
