Community Engagement: Michela Marino Lerman: Community Tap Workshop and Film Screening
Whether you’re a tap dancing pro or have been curious about trying it out, join us for a tap dance workshop with celebrated tap dance artist, musician, improviser, choreographer and educator Michela Marino Lerman!
The workshop will start with basic steps and advance to improvisational tap. Bring your tap shoes (or comfortable shoes you can move in). All ages, bodies and experience levels welcome!
Following the workshop, tappers are encouraged to stay for a screening of American Tap, a documentary film about the origins of tap dancing in American cultural history.
