Gary Snyder’s work has influenced many of the most dramatic literary and cultural movements of the past 50 years. A long-time Buddhist practitioner, avid outdoorsman and environmental thinker, Snyder has worked to articulate the relationship of humans to the whole of nature. Gary Snyder read at the historic Whiteside Theatre in downtown Corvallis, Oregon, on October 26, 2012. Spring Creek Project co-sponsored the reading with the Visiting Writers Series hosted by Oregon State University’s School of Writing, Literature, and Film.
