Campus Connections

PRAx can help OSU faculty make connections across disciplines in the arts, humanities, sciences and engineering. We offer four ways help faculty find thought partners and collaborators:

Student Engagements: We invite faculty from across campus to reach out about including visiting artists, performers and speakers in their courses and activities.

Interdisciplinary Projects and Proposals: PRAx can serve as a partner on interdisciplinary projects and proposals by bringing arts and humanities expertise to science and engineering teams. We can also help artists and humanities teams connect with science and engineering faculty.

Reading Groups: We invite faculty in the arts and humanities to apply to host a self-directed reading group. Whether you are interested in bringing colleagues together to discuss new research in your field or you want to lay the groundwork for developing a future interdisciplinary project, you choose the topic or question, and we’ll support your group.

Write on Site: A Winter Writing Group: Sponsored by Center for the Humanities, the Write on Site group meets weekly during winter term. Humanities faculty are invited to join this supportive community to work on writing and research projects.
